Casa Campori - Holiday house in Umbria
A guest wrote:
After a good kilometre along a gravel path that winds gently through the Mediterranean landscape, you reach the stone house ‘Casa Campori’. The view of Lake Trasimeno is breathtaking - it feels as if it could just as easily be a bay in the Mediterranean. This panorama accompanies us throughout our stay and gives the place an almost tangible sense of calm. It is not only the silence and vastness, but also the intense scents of the surrounding nature that make this place special. Rosemary and wild herbs are constantly present and contribute to the unique atmosphere.
The evenings are particularly memorable. The outdoor kitchen and terrace quickly became our favourite place, where we often cooked together. Once we prepared fresh seafood on the plancha, another time juicy bistecche from the nearby ‘Moretti’ cattle farm sizzled on the grill. Eating outdoors, in the fresh air and accompanied by the marvellous view, made every meal an experience.
And then there were the sunsets - every evening was a true spectacle. The colours of the sky seemed to reinvent themselves every evening and it was always an experience to watch the sun bathe the surroundings in a golden light.
During the day, I could relax by the pool for hours and let my gaze wander. Over the glistening olive trees and down to the lake - it felt as if time had simply stood still here. Casa Campori is a retreat that allows you to take a deep breath and experience the simplicity and beauty of country life in its purest form.
La Melusina - Holiday villa in Le Marche

Arriving in La Melusina, the view opened up to the majestic Monte Vettore, which towered over the landscape. This panorama accompanied me throughout my stay. The holiday home itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and luxurious comfort - every detail lovingly cared for, every room furnished with taste and style.
But what made my stay unforgettable was not only the extraordinary beauty of the place, but also the special experience that the warm hosts, Grazia and Nicola, arranged for me: a truffle hunt in their own forest. This 25-hectare dense forest surrounding La Melusina is home to some of nature's most precious culinary treasures - truffles.
Early in the morning, Alessandro, an experienced truffle hunter, accompanied us along with his dog on an adventure that was as unique as it was exciting. The tense wait for the dog to sniff out a find and finally digging up the coveted summer truffle was an experience I will never forget. The joy of the moment when the first truffle was found was indescribable.
But the best was yet to come: Back at La Melusina, the gifted chef Samuele transformed the freshly collected truffles into a veritable feast. Truffles in every conceivable variation - each dish a small work of art and every bite a delight. While we ate, we enjoyed the sweeping view over the green hills as far as Monte Vettore, and the sun's rays bathed the landscape in a warm, golden light.
At the end of the day, as the sun slowly disappeared behind the mountains, I realised just how special this place is. La Melusina is not just a holiday home, but a place that is deeply rooted in nature and at the same time pampers the senses. It's not just the tasteful rooms and luxurious amenities, but also the unforgettable experiences that make this place so magical.
Casa Winther - Holiday villa in Umbria

The week at Casa Winther was a few weeks ago now, but the memories are still fresh and vivid. What remains most memorable is the unrivalled peace and quiet that accompanied us throughout our stay. Whether we were sitting on the terrace in the morning and gazing out into the distance or spending the day by the pool, there were always these marvellous views of the Apennines looming on the horizon.
The evenings, which were already a little chilly, had their very own magic. From the aperitif to the last glass of wine, we spent our time in the spacious living area of Casa Winther. The room layout is perfectly thought out - open-plan living, but on three levels, so that you are always together. Whether downstairs at the dining table, in the centre in the kitchen or upstairs in the living area - you always felt connected, as part of a big whole.
But the absolute highlight of the week was undoubtedly the cookery evening with Thomas. It wasn't just about cooking together, it was a real experience that we all really enjoyed. Under his guidance, we prepared homemade tagliatelle, a traditional ragu and the best tiramisu I have ever eaten. It was an evening full of laughter, new cooking techniques and delicious dishes that we will remember for a long time to come. A big thank you to Thomas for this unforgettable evening!
Casa Winther not only gave us a wonderful stay, but also experiences that brought us closer together as a group. A week that we will not soon forget.
Macennere - Holiday villa Lucca

The week in Macennere in autumn will remain unforgettable for me. As soon as we arrived, we were surrounded by the very special atmosphere of the old stone house - the peace and solitude in the middle of the forest and the wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside. We started each day with a dip in the ‘dark pool’ - the cool water, the fresh autumn air, simply invigorating.
We spent the evenings in the spacious kitchen, which became our common meeting place. Each evening had its own flavour, as each of us was allowed to conjure up our favourite dish for the group. These cooking evenings were full of laughter, stories and, of course, delicious flavours that filled the kitchen.
But the highlight was the last evening. We decided to hike down the steep forest path to San Martino in Freddano. Once there, we treated ourselves to a well-earned beer in the small bar, which seemed like a meeting place for the whole village community. At the end, the locals invited us for a ‘spaghettata’ - simple spaghetti with fresh ingredients, yet full of flavour and warmth that you rarely experience. It was an evening that connected us with the warmth of the Tuscan people.
Poggio Posillipo - Villa with tennis court in Italy
A guest wrote:
A week at Poggio Posillipo near Todi was like a dream that we were able to turn into reality with our friends from the tennis club. Situated in the middle of the Umbrian hills, this incredible holiday home offered us exactly what we had hoped for: sport, relaxation and unforgettable moments in a breathtaking landscape.
The tennis court quickly became the centrepiece of our stay - our ‘living room’ in the open air. Early in the morning, the air was filled with the typical sound of tennis rackets, and with every rally we felt the joy of starting the day actively. Two matches a day were a must, and when the heat got too much, we were tempted to cool off in the sparkling pool.
From every point in the house, but especially from the pool, we had a marvellous view of the nearby hilltop town of Todi. This view gave our stay a special atmosphere. Todi, with its old walls and winding alleyways, seemed like a living painting and reminded us every day that we were in a very special place.
In the evenings, we all gathered under the portico, where the outdoor kitchen became the stage for culinary highlights. The barbecues with fresh vegetables and juicy steaks from the region were the crowning glory for us. We often sat together for hours while the setting sun bathed us in a warm light and the stars rose above us. Cooking, laughing and savouring together made us forget the time and feel the bond between us.
A special place that united our passion for tennis, nature and the good life in perfect harmony.
La Sorgente - Holiday villa in Tuscany

In April we spent a week with a family friend in the holiday home La Sorgente near Lucca. The first warm spring days invited us to spend a lot of time outside and the house, surrounded by the rolling green hills of Tuscany, was the perfect place to simply switch off.
The evenings in the open-plan kitchen were particularly special. We cooked together, tried out new recipes, made our own fresh pasta and finally enjoyed the meal at the big table. It was nice to have the time for long conversations and just being together again.
Another favourite moment was our aperitifs in front of the house, in a place with a truly breathtaking view. From there you could see for kilometres over the green hills, which radiated a very special atmosphere in the light of the setting sun. With a glass of wine in our hands and this view in front of us, it felt as if time was passing more slowly.
Playing boules on the hotel's own track also became a daily ritual. Everyone took part and small competitions quickly developed. We all didn't take it too seriously, but the ambition and fun were always there. There was a lot of laughter and playing boules became an integral part of our days at La Sorgente.
At the end of the week, we all agreed that La Sorgente was exactly what we had been looking for. A place that offers peace and quiet and at the same time enough space for the little experiences that made our holiday unforgettable.
Cascina Monferrato - Farmhouse in Piedmont
A guest wrote:
"Last May, we spent a few unforgettable days at Cascina Monferrato in the heart of Piedmont, and I still find myself reminiscing about the magic of that place. From the moment we stepped into the garden, it was like entering a hidden paradise. The pathways were lined with rose bushes in full bloom, each one bursting with petals in shades of creamy white and soft pink, creating a scene straight out of a painting.
The scent of roses filled the air, blending with the earthy aroma of the surrounding landscape. Each morning, as the sun rose and cast a golden light over the flowers, the garden seemed to come alive. We would stroll along the gravel paths under wooden pergolas wrapped in flowering vines, stopping to admire each rose bush, each fragrant corner. Every section of the garden had its own character, but the roses truly stole the show, creating a serene, romantic atmosphere that felt timeless.
One of my favorite spots was an old wooden bench nestled under a pergola covered in climbing roses. We would sit there, taking in the quiet beauty around us, as bees and butterflies danced among the flowers. It felt like a sanctuary, a place to simply breathe and let go of everything.
In the evening, when the sun went down, the light became softer and the scent of roses seemed to intensify in the cool air. We spent the evenings on the terrace, surrounded by the lush garden landscape, watching the light fade - a sense of deep calm spread. Here you are invited to slow down, feel nature and savour the quiet beauty of the Italian countryside. We left with hearts full of gratitude and rose-scented memories and are already dreaming of returning next May."
Casa Blu - Seafront holiday home Sicily

"Summer at Casa Blu - Our perfect family holiday by the sea
Our stay at Casa Blu was exactly what we had hoped for from a summer holiday - tranquillity, proximity to the sea and an incomparable atmosphere. We spent two weeks in August in this wonderful holiday home in Fontane Bianche on the east coast of Sicily. Despite our initial concerns about the heat and the many holidaymakers during Ferragosto, we found an oasis of calm here.
Casa Blu is located in a small, secluded holiday home development right by the sea. Even from the terrace, we had a fantastic view of the deep blue water, which sparkled all day long. We started the morning with a relaxed coffee while the first rays of sunshine lit up the sea. This view accompanied us throughout the day - a picture we never tired of savouring.
During the day, we spent most of our time right by the sea, which was just a few steps away. Small paths led us to the flat rocks, which were perfect for relaxed splashing and exploring. Our three-year-old son was thrilled to join us in looking for crabs and small fish in the rock holes. The water was crystal clear and pleasantly refreshing, ideal for cooling off. And although it was August, it was pleasantly quiet. Only a few holidaymakers from the village shared the rocks with us - we often had the feeling that we had this magical stretch of coastline all to ourselves.
In the afternoon, we retired to the shady terrace of Casa Blu. There we let the hot hours of the day pass by, savouring the sea breeze and the view of the water, which enchanted us time and time again. No matter how often we watched the waves, this panorama never got boring - it was a moment of absolute relaxation.
The Casa Blu itself was simple, modern and perfectly reduced to the essentials. It offered us everything we needed for a successful beach holiday. The proximity to the sea, the tranquillity of the surroundings and the beauty of the Sicilian coast made our stay an unforgettable experience.
If you are looking for a place that is far away from the hustle and bustle and yet offers direct access to one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Sicily, you will find your little paradise at Casa Blu. It was the perfect summer holiday for us - and we are already dreaming of returning."
