The attractive beach at Praia is about 500 metres away and is reached by going down the alley from the apartment and a series of flights of steps that offer enchanting glimpses of the coastline. Once you reach the beach you find a rather special place with an interesting atmosphere and several restaurants offering the local cuisine, also boat hire and a sub-aqua school and, further on, a path carved out of the rock that leads to a well-known night club. Praiano lies at the centre of the Amalfi Coast and is about 6 kms both from Positano and Amalfi. It offers all of the services you might need and a useful bus service in the summer months that will take you both to the beach at Praia and to Positano.
