A stay at Casa Grande Elba allows you to experience one of the most beautiful locations on the island of Elba. Here, you can enjoy this Island in Tuscany and nature in a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a getaway with family or friends.

This historic holiday home, built from Elban stone in the early 19th century, is located directly on the water in the Gulf of Portoferraio. With a private park and direct access to the pebble beach, it combines nature, privacy, and Mediterranean charm.

The spacious terrace offers a stunning sea view, stretching across the bay to the historic town center of Portoferraio and the Castello del Volterraio fortress. Whether at the large dining table, the lounge area, or on the comfortable cushions, you can fully embrace the Mediterranean way of life. Thanks to its north-facing orientation, the terrace remains pleasantly cool even in the height of summer.

The interior of Casa Grande is generously designed, offering plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and the gentle sound of the waves create a special holiday atmosphere, ensuring a restful sleep.

Only three steps separate you from the water—a unique feature of this location. Behind the house, a sprawling park with pine and eucalyptus trees provides shade and invites you to take relaxing walks. The 600 m² garden is perfect for unwinding, enjoying the fresh air, and spending warm summer evenings at the outdoor dining area with a barbecue.

For water sports enthusiasts, two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) are available - perfect for exploring the coast of Elba directly from the house.

30 metres from the house there is a convenient private car park in the pine forest for 6/8 cars, with the possibility of charging electric cars.

The small harbour town of Portoferraio is 10 minutes (6.5 km) away. The nearest supermarket is only 1.2 km away.

Casa Grande Elba extends over three levels: the ground floor, the first floor and the tower floor.

Ground floor: The ground floor is the centrepiece of the house: the spacious dining area with direct access to the sea terrace. On the terrace, a large dining table, a cosy seating area, sun loungers and comfortable cushions on the wall invite you to relax. Just three steps lead directly to the pebble beach.

Adjacent to the dining room is the large living room, which is divided into several areas:

• main room with two comfortable sofas
• smaller living room with television
• Another living room with a view of the garden

The large kitchen and a small guest WC are also located on this floor.

Bedroom on the ground floor

• ‘La Loggia’ - A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, accessible via the main lounge through arches
• ‘Stanza del Giardino’ - A double bedroom (optionally with separate beds), with en-suite bathroom and separate access from the garden.

First floor: A staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a small corridor.

From here you reach:

• A children's room with bunk bed
• ‘Stanza Terrazza’ - A large double bedroom with private terrace
• Two shared bathrooms
• ‘Remo’ - A double room (optionally with separate beds)
• ‘Mare’ - A spacious room with a double bed and a single bed and direct sea view
• ‘Francese’ - A single room with a bathroom in the immediate vicinity
• ‘Oblo’ - Another single room with bathroom, accessible from the TV room. It is located on the first floor, but has no connection to the other rooms on the first floor.

First floor (tower floor): Another staircase leads to the tower floor, where there is a small double room:

• ‘Cielo’ - A cosy double room with a unique atmosphere

Up another flight of stairs you reach the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding area.
