Villa Spenser is uniquely situated on a 6,000 m² estate with breathtaking views of the Apuan Alps and the Gulf of Poets, located right next to the Cinque Terre National Park. This historic Liberty-style villa, designed by renowned architect Franco Olivo in 1910, was once the summer residence of the writer Anna Vivanti. Offering a perfect combination of privacy and class, the villa was fully restored in 2022 to combine old-world elegance with modern comforts.

The interior of the villa is designed with impeccable taste and sophistication, exuding the charm of classic architecture while incorporating the best modern amenities. The Devol Leicestershire kitchen is fully equipped, and a private chef can be arranged upon request. The villa’s five bedrooms are equally exquisite, each with its own unique charm, featuring high 3.8-meter ceilings, large windows, and beautiful views. A highlight is the portico with antique ceiling frescoes, depicting the ships of Christopher Columbus: Niña, Pinta, and Santa Maria.

The outdoor area is designed for ultimate relaxation, with a private pool surrounded by olive and lemon trees, as well as Mediterranean shrubs. A covered pavilion with a dining table and sofas, along with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ, provides the perfect setting for enjoying meals outdoors.

The villa’s peaceful location at the end of a private road ensures undisturbed relaxation. The charming village center is just a 3-minute walk away and offers excellent restaurants serving authentic Ligurian cuisine. A small grocery shop is also within walking distance. The villa’s proximity to La Spezia (a 20-minute walk) and the nearby beaches of San Terenzo or Portovenere makes it an ideal base for exploration. The beaches are easily accessible by boat, taxi, or bus.

Please note that the villa is located in a pedestrian-only area and is not directly accessible by car. The parking area is approximately 180 meters away along the main road (next to the restaurant La Gira in Via Genova). A house manager will assist you with luggage transportation upon arrival and departure.

The romantic swimming pool (8 x 3,80 metres) is right next to the house in front of the large, covered terrace with a barbecue and view of the sea. Exclusivity and total privacy are guaranteed.  

A large and comfortable teak lounge and plenty of sun loungers are available. The large round dining table is in the shaded area of the terrace.
