Villa sicily Casa Barocca

This distinctive recently built house is situated on a hill near Scicli and enjoys a splendid view of the countryside dotted with olive trees and carobs.  It is located in the vicinity of Torre dei Mori which is also part of our proposal and can be booked jointly for particularly large groups.
The indoor areas are all arranged on the same level and contain modern and elegant furniture.   The kitchen is perfectly equipped.  The whole house has air conditioning.
In the garden there is a beautiful characteristic 4 x 10 m swimming pool from which it is possible to enjoy the magnificent panorama as well as a large outdoor overlooking space furnished with table and chairs for eating ‘al fresco’, in addition to the lounge area which is naturally shaded by large carob trees.

The property is situated in the most classical Sicilian Baroque area of which Scicli is one of the most important examples along with the cities of Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla, all fully qualified UNESCO World Heritage Centers.  These localities can be easily reached by car in between 15 and 30 minutes.

The sea is within easy reach, the nearest beach is the one named after the ancient fishing village of Sampieri and is probably the best in the area.  It is only 7 km away from the house (around 10 minutes by car) and a seaside resort with amenities and large stretches of public beach.
Scicli is just 1 km away and has food shops, supermarkets, all kinds of stores and excellent traditional restaurants where it is possible to savor typical Sicilian dishes.
