Tucked away in a 20-hectare nature park, La Palazzola is an exceptional 17th-century fortified villa, offering a unique stay immersed in Sicilian history and natural beauty. Located around 10 km from the coast, the property enjoys stunning views over the Mediterranean, especially on clear days.

Originally built in the late 1600s, the villa has been carefully restored, respecting its original architecture while adding modern comforts. The bedrooms are set within the historic stone bailey, while the spacious 200 sq. meter annex serves as a communal area. Designed for an open-air experience, the annex features large transparent plastic curtains instead of windows, which can be opened in warm weather. While there is no air conditioning or central heating, a large stove provides warmth when needed.

The outdoor spaces include a solarium and a large 10x12m swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and oleander plants. Heated by solar panels, the pool maintains a temperature between 20 and 28 degrees, depending on the weather.

Situated in the heart of Southeastern Sicily, La Palazzola is just a short drive from the stunning Baroque towns of Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Modica, and Noto. The Vendicari Nature Reserve, Syracuse, and the lakes of Cavagrande del Cassibile are all within easy reach. The beautiful beaches of Marina di Ragusa are just 10 minutes away by car.

For convenience, a caretaker resides in a separate wing of the property, ensuring seamless maintenance and assisting guests as needed. Upon request, breakfast can also be prepared. The villa offers wireless broadband internet for guests' convenience.

Additionally, all double bedrooms can be converted into twin rooms, and some can accommodate a small children's bed or cot/crib, making the property flexible for various group needs.
