Welcome to Compignano Barn, a beautifully restored Tuscan hideaway perched on the breathtaking hills near Lucca. Set on the serene Compignano Estate, this charming converted barn offers the perfect blend of privacy, comfort, and traditional Tuscan elegance. The estate, nestled at the foothills of the Apuan Alps, is surrounded by woodlands and olive groves, with panoramic views stretching as far as the Tyrrhenian Sea.

This property is ideal for those seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors. The barn is surrounded by panoramic terraces and a private section of the lush garden, perfect for al-fresco dining, relaxing with a book, or simply soaking in the stunning landscape. Guests also have access to a shared swimming pool (12m x 6m) and 10 acres of well-maintained grounds with olive groves and fruit trees.

The barn’s interior has been recently restored with a focus on Tuscan tradition, using local materials to maintain its rustic charm while incorporating modern comforts.

The first floor features a spacious open-plan area with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, and a cozy living room. This space opens onto a panoramic terrace, ideal for enjoying meals outdoors while taking in the sweeping views.

On the ground floor, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom, while the twin bedroom (convertible into a double upon request) has its own private bathroom. Both bedrooms offer direct access to the garden and another terrace, providing a peaceful retreat to enjoy the Tuscan countryside.

The downhill road leading to the house is not suitable for very nervous drivers.
