Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, La Lepraia is an expansive 13-hectare estate perfectly situated between the lush countryside and the stunning Etruscan coast near Castellina Marittima. This estate offers breathtaking panoramic views that stretch across the Mediterranean Sea to the Tuscan Islands of Elba and Capraia, and on clear days, even to Corsica.

La Lepraia resides within the "Il Terriccio" natural reserve, a sanctuary that sustains a rich array of native flora and wildlife, contributing to the estate’s serene and untouched landscape. Captivated by its natural beauty, the owners embarked on a meticulous restoration project to transform La Lepraia into a luxurious retreat while preserving its historical essence. The landscape, designed by the world-famous Paolo Pejone, incorporates indigenous plants and merges seamlessly with the surrounding environment, enhancing the estate's organic charm.

The property is uniquely suited for large groups or families, accommodating up to 22 guests across three elegantly restored cottages—Alloro (4 guests), Bosso (10 guests), and Cerro (8 guests). Each house offers privacy with its own private garden and covered terrace, ideal for enjoying meals outdoors. The interiors are beautifully furnished, combining Tuscan antiques and select ethnic pieces to create a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. Every bedroom is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.

A standout feature of La Lepraia is the luxurious pool area, which includes a large infinity swimming pool (16x8 meters) with a shallow end, perfect for families. The pool area is complemented by a built-in barbecue and a fully equipped pool house with kitchen facilities, a bathroom, and a changing room, providing everything needed for memorable poolside entertainment.

Safety is paramount at La Lepraia, and due to the risk of forest fires, the barbecue grill is operated exclusively by the caretaker, ensuring peace of mind for all guests.

Despite its secluded feel, La Lepraia is only 15 km from the nearest motorway exit, making it an excellent base for exploring Tuscan historical cities or venturing out to nearby beaches, just 20 km away. The caretakers live independently on the estate, providing assistance when needed without compromising guest privacy.
