La Segreta is an exclusive and modernly furnished countryside retreat with a private pool in Umbria, consisting of two buildings.

Nestled among tranquil cherry orchards, a small vineyard, and olive groves, this carefully renovated farmhouse offers stunning views of the medieval town of Piedicolle. Once the home of local farmers and the site for the annual grain harvest, the property now accommodates up to 10 guests with the addition of a second house connected by a covered outdoor pathway.

With four spacious bedrooms, each equipped with elegant bathrooms and private terraces, La Segreta is perfect for groups of friends and family gatherings. The pool has a shallow end for small children, and the professionally equipped kitchen and outdoor fireplace with a grill make it ideal for both professional and amateur chefs.

Enjoy sunsets over the Tiber Valley, relax by the fireplace, or cook in the well-equipped kitchen after exploring the nearby hill towns. The ground floor is perfect for spending time with family and friends.

Both buildings of La Segreta feature terracotta and concrete/resin floors, oak beams, and cathedral ceilings. The spacious dining room is furnished with a large rustic pine table and Eames Eiffel Tower chairs. At the heart of the living room is a limestone fireplace carved by local craftsmen, surrounded by French doors that open onto a large terrace and manicured garden. The kitchen, with oversized stainless steel appliances, a cooking range, and a complete set of All-Clad cookware, is a gourmet's dream.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with hand-laid river stones, a private terrace, French doors, an extra-large rain shower, and valley views. The houses are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, retractable insect screens, SKY TV, and a Bose docking station for your iPod.

The spacious outdoor terrace next to the living room is covered with white wisteria and features an outdoor fireplace, perfect for grilling bistecca and bruschetta. Below the terraces, the expansive private pool area includes chairs, loungers, and night lighting. Each bedroom has its own private terrace, one with a freestanding outdoor bathtub. The authentic Umbrian landscaping includes cherry, walnut, and olive groves; fig and cypress trees; rosemary bushes; jasmine-covered pillars, and endless rows of lavender.
